Team Hub

Team Hub at New Parks Community Centre in Leicester is a vibrant community hub offering a wide range of activities and services. They host the Team Troupers Dance Academy, providing dance classes for ages 2 to 18. The hub celebrates events throughout the year, including Valentine’s, Easter, Summer Extravaganza, Halloween, and Christmas. The Team Cafe serves breakfast and coffee, and room hire is available at affordable rates. The hub provides a pre-school program, football sessions for young children, fitness classes, craft activities, bingo, and a youth café with mentoring sessions. Team Chatterbox offers a space for adults to discuss everyday challenges. Volunteering opportunities are available, and those interested in setting up community groups can get support.

They emphasise the role of education in societal development and participation.

Their services include training, personal development, performing arts support, career coaching, business development, mentoring, and community advocacy.

Help The Homeless Leicester is a charity dedicated to transforming lives and alleviating homelessness in their city. They believe in the power of positive relationships and realistic goals to foster personal growth among service users. Starting in 2014 by distributing clothing from a car boot, they have since expanded their reach, offering a range of services, including food parcels, accommodation advocacy, and community care. Their approach is tailored to individual needs, avoiding judgment and focusing on encouragement and empowerment.
